Over the counter equivalents: There are some medications your physician may prescribe for you which have an equivalent that can be purchased over the counter, meaning no prescription is necessary to obtain them. No medication that falls into this category is covered under the Express Scripts prescription plan.
Disability Claims: It is sometimes necessary for the Fund Office to request additional information in order to process a disability claim, as outlined in the Summary Plan Description. Unfortunately this may cause a delay in payment of benefits. Every effort is made to avoid any greater delay than is absolutely necessary.
