The Trustees are committed to the protection of the privacy and the private information of the Participants in in the Plans as well as other visitors to this Website.

While the purpose of this Website is not to collect any personal information, the Website may collect certain information as explained later in this Privacy Policy and Participants may be asked to provide certain information so that such Participants may be directed to appropriate information about benefits and programs for which they may be eligible. Personal information should not be provided through the Website unless specifically requested and protected health information will never be requested by this Website and should never be provided or downloaded to this Website.

Generally, visitors to this Website can view content on the Website without registering or providing any personal information. Nevertheless, when visitors enter the Website using a computer, tablet, application, mobile phone, or other internet portal, the Website may use a variety of tracking tools to collect information such as the visitor’s browser and operating system type and “IP address” to optimize the visitor’s experience on the Website, comply with applicable laws, and to track aggregate usage of the Website. Additionally, subject to applicable law, the Trustees may share personal information that the Website collects with certain third parties that share the Union’s interests. The Trustees will not share any financial information a Plan Participant has provided unless legally required to do so or authorized herein or by such Plan Participant.

The Trustees will not sell any of the personal information that is collected by this Website.

By using this Website, the visitor agrees that the Trustees may use both his or her personally identifying information and certain non-personally identifying information (such as anonymous usage data, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) to improve the quality of the user experience and the design of the Website and to create new features, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user behavior, preferences, trends, and actions.

When a visitor provides his or her physical and/or e-mail address, he or she agrees that the Plans may use those addresses to communicate with him or her about the Union’s activities and offerings, unless he or she opts-out from receiving such messages. The Trustees may also use those addresses for administrative purposes and for customer service purposes. Visitors will be offered the option of unsubscribing by following the simple instructions included in the email or by calling the telephone number provided. If a visitor sends email or other communications to the Trustees or representatives, the visitor agrees that they may retain those communications in order to process any inquiries, to consider responding to any requests and to improve the services offered by the Plans.

The Trustees may offer the ability for visitors to connect with the Website using a mobile device, either through a mobile application or via a mobile optimized website. The provisions of this Privacy Policy will apply to all such mobile access and use of mobile devices. When a visitor downloads or uses a mobile application, or accesses a mobile optimized Website, the Trustees and their representatives may receive information about the visitor’s location and mobile device, including a unique identifier for the visitor’s device. The Trustees may use this information to provide the visitor with location-based services, such as advertising, search results, and other personalized content. Visitors may disable location services in their device’s settings menu to avoid receipt of this information.

Visitors acknowledge that the Trustees may be required, under certain circumstances, to disclose personal information pursuant to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws.
